next week, when discussing Grothendieck's form of Galois theory, I shall use the language of categories and functors. I presume most of you have seen the basic concepts in other classes (e.g. Istituzioni di Algebra, Elementi di Topologia Algebrica). In case you have not, or you have forgotten them, please read the first 3 pages of my notes on homological algebra that I attach.
